This is an excellent base for walkers who can enjoy the delights of Kielder and Harwood forests as well as the Cheviot Hills. Belsay is ideally situated for exploring both Northumberland, with its rugged coastline, castles and pretty fishing villages, as well as the Scottish Borders, with its stately homes and historical towns.
