There is a beach within a mile of the cottage and the African adventure of Suffolk Wildlife Park is within walking distance.
Kessingland is a good base for exploring the nature reserves and traditional towns and villages of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, whilst the Broads and Somerleyton Hall, with 12 acres of gardens and a famous maze, are within a few miles.
