Vesterhoj, situated at an altitude of 121 metres, has 27 churches in total which includes the Cathedral of Roskilde. It is said that at the foot of Vesterhoj, under the mountain dwelling, there is a dragon that guards a gigantic pot of gold. Artefacts that date back to Stone Age were recovered from Naebbet, the extreme tip of Ordrup Naes.
