The balcony terrace overlooks a pretty lawned garden that is bordered by a little stream. Lovingly restored to a high standard by the English owners. Traditional features such as beams, stone walls and huge fireplace have been combined with modern facilities to provide excellent accommodation. The historic Bastide town of Domme is just 2km and the famous town of Sarlat with its cobbled streets and twice weekly market is just 12kms. The River Dordogne has a sandy beach for swimming and canoe hire. The village has supermarket, chemist, tennis, riding, small shops, cafes, restaurants, bakers,banks and garage. This is an ideal location from which to tour this beautiful area of the Dordogne, including the caves at Lascaux and Padirac, as well as La Roque-Gageac and the spectacular riverside chateaux of Beynac, Fenelon, and Castelnaud. The area can easily be explored by car, bicycle on foot or by canoe. TV screen to play DVDs but no antenna so no TV reception. Both twin rooms can be made up as doubles on request.
