There is a fully fitted kitchen including a breakfast table area, whilst the main dining table is set off the lovely lounge section, which features a wood burner ensuring year round comfort. There is also a downstairs wet room and a room, which has a double bed designed to facilitate wheelchair access, or for someone who may struggle to get upstairs to one of the 4 main bedrooms and 2nd bathroom. Ramps have also been fitted to allow easy access to the front garden and South facing private terrace at the back of the house. There is additionally a table football, a library section at the top of the stairs, ideal for chilling out quietly. The main town locally is Jonzac (7km) which has a stunning château, all services, restaurants and bars, a great Water Leisure Park 'Les Antilles' and a free beach lake. The sea and the lovely sandy beach at Meschers is within an hour or the resort at Royan is another 10kms up the coast. Try also to visit Cognac (40km) where you can see its famous distilleries. The historic city of La Rochelle is just over an hour away and well worth a visit.
