The historic town of Luzech is less than a mile away, a lovely spot in a loop of the River Lot dominated by the Celtic hill fort of L'Impernal, with its Gallo-Roman ruins. Here you can sample the Wednesday market, bars and restaurants. Boat trips, canoeing and fishing can all be enjoyed in this area. Further afield and easily accessible by car are Rocamadour, Saint Cirque Lapopie and the caves of Pech Merle. The Dordogne Border is close by and easily accessible for visits to historic châteaux. Fly via Bergerac or Toulouse.
