House In Hambye
chemin de la Croix Martin, Hambye, Normandy, France
Yes (max 1)
Description of House In HambyeThis charming house is nestled amidst beautiful fauna and flora, in the Norman hedgerow landscape, between Villedieu-les-Poëles and Saint-Lô. Emphasis was laid on maintaining the original flair, during a thorough and tasteful restoration of what was formerly a farm. Thus a comfortable accommodation with plenty of charm has been created. The adjoining FNM440 can be booked for accommodating up to 15 people. A private and closed outdoor area with garden furniture and barbecue are available for holidaymakers. The nature-loving owner will be glad to provide information about the animal life at the pond, honey bees or butterfly count. This accommodation is an ideal spot to experience the Norman hedgerow landscape. The interesting day-trip destinations include Saint-Lô, Vire, Mortain, Villedieu-les-Poêles, the gorges of the Vire and the forest of Saint-Sever. The littoral of the Manche, with the impressive Mont-Saint-Michel and many beautiful beaches, is not far away and it extends towards the west. Montmartin-à-Avranches is definitely worth a visit. We also highly recommend visits to the Channel Islands, the landing beaches and Caen with its memorial.
