Make sure to visit the perched villages of Bégude Mazenc, Poet-Lava, Eyzahut and Dieulefit, famous for its pottery. The amateurs of nature and climbing will appreciate the forest of Saoû and its fabulous heritage, where you can discover 2,500 acres of exceptional flora and fauna (golden eagle, peregrine falcon, the Grand Duke, ermine, weasel, chamois) and diverse landscapes such as marshes, gorges, cliffs, scrubland, heath and grasslands. The massive, standing at the foot of the Vercors, offers an extraordinary view over the valleys of the Drôme and the Rhône and sometimes the snow-capped Alps with the Col des Trois Becs. If you feel like tasting French specialties, do not miss the nougat in Montelimar and the famous wine route of the Côtes du Rhône. The crocodile farm in Pierrelatte is also worth seeing.
