Once a busy port, Findhorn village is now an ideal holiday location and base for exploring the Moray coast and its hinterland. The horseshoe bay provides safe water for dinghy sailing and yacht anchorage and is of special interest to the ornithologist and naturalist; the North Shore bounding the Moray Firth has miles of unspoilt sandy beaches.

Tide's Edge Cottage sits directly on the waterfront with uninterrupted views South and West across the water to the Culbin Forest nature reserve, the Moray Firth and the mountains beyond. One would be unlucky during the average week not to spot the osprey or seals fishing in the Bay.

A grade "B" Listed building, formerly part of the old salmon fisheries, the cottage has been sympathetically restored and renovated and is well furnished and fully equipped for self catering. Space heating is provided by night storage heaters; the double reception room, overlooking the Bay, also has a wood burning stove.

The cottage has:
• Four bedrooms - with one double, one twin and a separate bathroom on the first floor; and
• A double studio bedroom, adjoining twin bunk bedroom and a further bathroom on the ground floor.
• The accommodation sleeps up to eight and is well suited to two families sharing.
Within half an hour's drive there are attractions catering for all tastes; sites of historic interest including Cawdor Castle, Fort George and the battlefield at Culloden; distilleries on Speyside; and a wide range of sporting facilities, notably the championship golf courses at Nairn.

The Village itself has two pubs and a well stocked general store and Post Office; Forres is 5 miles inland. Inverness, the Highland capital, lies 30 miles to the West; and Elgin, the principal town of Moray, 15 miles to the East.
