Beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings. Situated in picturesque village of Erlestoke, perfect for walking (woods across road), cycling (on + off road), golf (championship length course in village) and pub lunches (plenty, including gastro in area).

The cottage dates back to 18th century and is believed to be part of the Old Court House. The large kitchen has an 8 seater table, sofa and french doors that open out onto the south facing walled garden. The lounge has a large open fire, a grande sofa and leather fireside chair (both Laura Ashley). Upstairs, there are 2 delightful double bedrooms and 1 child's room. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with quality beds, bedlinen and towels. Deep window seats, solid beams and original pannelled doors all add to the rural charm of this relaxing retreat.

You really will enjoy the best of both worlds: Not only can you enjoy rural Wiltshire (idyllic countryside, beautiful thatched cottages, local produce, gastro country pubs, walks, wildlife, cycle rides, golf, tea gardens - all of this in close proximity), you can also enjoy easy access to fantastic days out (Bath, StoneHenge, Stourhead, Longleat, Marborough, Bradford upon Avon, Lacock, Melksham, Salisbury to name just a few - all approx 25mins by car).

Stonehenge for its incredible history, Stourhead for its beauty, Longleat for fantastic family fun, Bradford for beautiful canal walks, Lacock for Harry Potter gorgeousness! Salisbury for its cathedral, Bath for its architecture and shopping. Just so much to enjoy.

Closer to the cottage (6 miles) is Devizes - a lovely historic market town with cafes, restaurants, a weekly market, leisure centre, theatre, weekly live music (at the bear), Kid's play area and the Kennet&Avon canal.
