This chocolate box holiday cottage is nestled in 75 acres of diverse, private ancient woodland; a wonderland for those with children to explore.
The detached self-catering cottage sleeps 6 people. You can enjoy very comfortable and stylish accommodation, including a beautiful sitting room and modern bathroom/wet-room. Outside is a private terrace with table and chairs for 8, gas barbecue, landscaped gardens and parking.
Roughly 300 yards from Old Keepers holiday cottage, you can walk through the forest (maybe spotting a deer or two or visiting the treehouse) to the lake where there is a Balinese lodge, perfect for trout fly-fishing and enjoying a picnic in the peace and serenity of this beautiful retreat.
Whether enjoying the magnificent bluebell carpet in spring, or the rare butterflies and wild flowers in the summer, there is something of interest all year round. Salisbury is only 5 miles away, with Stonehenge just beyond, and 5 miles in the other direction is the stunning New Forest National Park, with Bournemouth and Southampton 40 mins away; and London just 1.5 hours drive.

Packed with character, there is also the exceptional and famous Cathedral with it towering spires. Many great shops, restaurants, pubs and parks in the centre and just outside. The area itself is unsurpassed in beauty and quintessential English-ness. From the Naddar valley and river to the West, the River Test a miles miles North to the New Forest just 5 miles to the East, we are situated in a prime spot. The South Coast beaches also just a 30 minute drive. 2 local pus, The Silver Plough and The Hook and Glove both within 3/4 miles
Accessibility DetailsThere is a large double bedroom downstairs and the large modern bathroom. Suitable for disabled. Gravel outside the front, but a paved terrace behind the cottage, leading straight out from the lounge.
ChangeoverChange over days are Saturday. We request that our guests leave by 10am to enable us to get the Cottage prepared
in time for the next arrival at 2pm.
