With parking for 2 cars, Spring Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the Cotswolds.
The cottage is within a very short walking distance of all the village facilities. Bourton-on-the-Water village has a zoological birdpark, model village, model railway, motor museum, Bourton Lakes coarse fisheries, perfumery workshop, pottery, children's indoor playbarn, swimming pool, maze and a good range of specialist shops.
There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the village and nearby hamlets. The village is at the centre of the network of Cotswold footpaths.
The Cotswolds is a favourite holiday destination for many people. It offers something to do all year round and is straightforward to get to and from. Bourton is in the River Windrush valley so has a sheltered mild climate. The river in the centre of the village is a favoured place to paddle and feed the ducks.

The property is extensively cleaned before guests arrive. 100% cotton bed linen (except cot linen/blankets), fluffy white towels and tea towels are provided.
Double French Patio Doors lead from the lounge onto a private south facing, beautifully paved patio area with hardwood garden table, chairs and parasol (seats 6) plus bench where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine whilst listening to the church bells and birdsong. Cotwold gravelled garden with pretty raised flower beds. The park and playing fields know as 'The Naight' can be accessed by a lockable gate at the end of the garden which is a lovely area for children to have a run-a-round and play ball games or to walk your pet.

Bourton on the Water has a two small supermarkets, plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and cash machines. We provide a file of information in the cottage on places to eat, drink and visit in the surrounding area.
Walk out the door of Spring Cottage, through the back of the town and you can have your pick of beautiful walks through the countryside surrounding Bourton on the Water. Escape to the Cotswolds has a wonderful list of walks to inspire you. If you prefer a set of wheels there are lovely cycle routes to sample too and bicycles can easily be hired locally.

ChangeoverNormally from Saturday to Saturday, however alternative arrival dates can be arranged subject to availability. Arrival from 4.00 pm and departure by 10.00am on final day.
Booking ConditionsPrices are based on 4 guests. Additional guests will be charged £5 per night (minimum £10). Small-medium sized, well trained pets may be accepted (please state age and breed when making an enquiry - sorry no puppies) - a £50 additional charge will be made per week for a pet. No smoking in the house please. Payments by Bank Transfer/Cheque.
Reasonable use of electricity, gas and unlimited wifi access are included in the price.
Deposit of £50 per booking/week payable on booking.
Balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.
A £75 Security deposit (£100 if a dog is in the party) is required and will be returned within 10 days following departure.

It is within easy distance of the picturesque Upper and Lower Slaughters, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Northleach, Winchombe, Snowshill, Burford, Tetbury, Bibury and Painswick. It is an hour drive or train journey away from the historic cities of Bath and Oxford, and forty-five minutes drive from the Shakespearian gem of Stratford.
