Description of Gateham Cottage

Framed by ancient copper beeches our farmstead nestles at the foot of Wetton Hill surrounded by miles of rolling countryside. Close to popular Dovedale, the Manifold Valley Cycle Trail, tranquil Alstonefield, busy Hartington, historic Chatsworth and thrill seeking Alton Towers, Gateham Grange offers the perfect Peak District Farm Holiday.

Gateham Cottage, originally part of our long old limestone farmhouse dated around 1830, now offers lovely self-contained accommodation inspected yearly by the AA and awarded 3 Stars. We live in the remainder of the house and are on hand if needed.

The cottage comprises:-

* Comfortable double bedroom and charming spacious twin bedroom with exposed stonework and old beams

* The upstairs lounge has a sofa bed if needed and overlooks the garden

* The kitchen/diner and bathroom are downstairs. The bath has a shower over.

* Recently fitted new kitchen with added benefit of dishwasher
