Tucked away in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, that have been practically untouched by time and discovered by few. Being only 5 minutes to the A303/A30 it is ideally located to explore the Jurassic Coast, many National Trust properties, gardens, shops, pubs, restaurants and a huge choice of attractions not only in Devon but in nearby Dorset and Somerset.
The spacious open plan reception room offers very comfortable living space, and being a single storey cottage (two shallow steps from lounge to bedroom area)is ideal for those with young children or if stairs are a difficulty. Three bedrooms (one double with ensuite cloakroom, one twin and one single). The bath has a shower over it. A door from the lounge opens onto a private patio where you can relax and enjoy views of the meadow area.
Prices range from £330 to £950 per week and short breaks can be taken at most times of the year.

Local InformationVery good walking in the area with many walks possible straight from the front door. Local pub in Upottery (children and dogs welcome, good food)is approximately 5 minutes by car but a very pleasant walk (about 40 minutes)along the quiet lanes, over the fields and by the river.Honiton is our nearest town and is a great place for shopping - plenty of individual shops as well as supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. Once renowned for lace making, examples can now be seen in the museum as well as in the many antique shops. Locally there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy bird watching, fishing, golf and riding. Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, on the Jurassic Coast, are a short drive away. The historic city of Exeter, with it's cathedral, underground caves, quay and many shops is worthy of a day trip. The national parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor are easily accessible as are many National Trust properties and gardens.
