Rosecraddoc Holiday Village is set in a quiet wooded valley divided by the river Seaton that flows from high up on the moor on its journey to the sea, 10 miles south. Rosecraddoc is ideally situated to be within easy daytrip range of the whole of Cornwall, South Devon and Dartmoor.
The accommodation sleeps 5 and comprises: 3 bedrooms (a double, a twin and a single); a well-equipped "galley" style kitchen with full size electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and washer/dryer. The bathroom has a full size bath with electric shower over. The lounge/dining room has 2 leather settees; TV, Video, DVD and Stereo Music Centre. The dining table can be extended to seat 6 people.
The bungalow has a private paved patio with garden furniture and BBQ, communal, open plan lawned gardens and private parking for 2 cars.
Cornwall is renowned for it's gentle climate, influenced by the Gulf Stream, but just to be sure, the bungalow is electrically heated and double-glazed to ensure that even during Winter breaks you are kept nice and warm! In fact it has all you need to ensure your comfort and relaxation.
The Beaches
Some of the best beaches can be found at Kingsand/Cawsand, Whitsand Bay, Seaton, Looe, Polperro, Lansallos (approx 25 minute walk from car park), Lantic Bay (be prepared for a steep climb!) There are also some magnificent beaches slightly further afield, on the North Coast, at Bude, Newquay, Padstow, Gwithian, Hayle and St Ives. Not all beaches are dog friendly in the summer months, however, and a leaflet can be found in the bungalow identifying the dog-friendly beaches.
Activities & Attractions
Cornwall has a wide variety of quality attractions- from some of the country's finest historic houses, superb gardens to a range of theme parks and farm attractions, which, together, offer a huge choice of great days out for everyone.
The Countryside
South East Cornwall has some of the best and most varied countryside in the whole of the South West of England from the mists of Bodmin Moor, the creeks and valleys of the rivers, to the secluded coves, sandy beaches and rocky outcrops of the coastline in the south. The area has the highest tree cover of any area of Cornwall with some lovely ancient woodland to explore. It also has over 400km of public footpaths with over 47km of coastline bordered by the South West Coast Path. There are plenty of opportunities for everyone to explore the countryside.
