Customer Reviews

Familiy with young children
28th February 2011
Good location, cosy cottage. Suitable for families, but not for those with toddlers as the stairs are open & very steep.
There were a few lights not working - one which we were told about in advance (the bedroom wall light): the floor lamp in the lounge & the spotlight in the kitchen. Also, as were arrived after dark, there wasn't any outside light to find our way in - it was only once inside that the hall light also switches on the outside light.
"The key collection arrangements were time consuming. As instructed to, I called the keyholder the day before but was told to call once in the village. However, there was hardly any mobile phone reception in the village & once we had been able to contact her, we then had to drive to her house to pick up the key. It would be useful to let guests know in advance that there is bad phone coverage, and to also possibly arrange to meet at the property, or at least leave a key somewhere at the property.
There were also a few dirty glasses, which had been put back in the kitchen cupboard, and a fair amount of dirty cutlery"
