Customer Reviews

Mature couple

Rutland Water is a fine place with many activities, good pubs etc.
Very poor quality accomodation and grossly misleading advertisement here.
"Everything about the accommodation was substandard.

The beeds were poor quality, with cheap badly fitting mattresses and linen.

The heating was basic in the extreme and on cold evenings was wholly inadequate.

The kitchen was primitive with key equipment (grill pan for example) missing and the toilet/ shower room was also very basic, poorly decorated and with substandard equipment (Showerhead would not even fasten to the wall). The extractor in this room did not work and gave off a smell of burning if the light was left on for any length of time (there was no opening window).

But the worst thing about this accommodation is that is does not match the advertisement here - IT DOES NOT OVERLOOK RUTLAND WATER AT ALL - There is no view other than a large conifer hedge between the accommodation and the owners large garden (which does have views of Rutland water!)

Do not book this! There are loads better places to stay around Rutland water."
