The scenery around the Peak District.
I personally think that a window/door could be made available so you have access to the patio at the side of the cottage.
"I knew that the cottage wasn't going to be large, but I thought that there would be more light to this property. It is also located in the front garden of the owner's house and therefore has no garden of its own, just a very small patio at the side which you have to move the large plant pots to get access. The owner is happy to accept a small dog, but they request that the dog is not allowed to have free roaming of the garden. If your dog wakes up early (as ours does), you can't just let it out for a quick wee and go back to bed. We had to get dressed and take her off the property and up the lane.
If you are thinking of taking your dog, the property is too small for a dog, and the only door is straight into the kitchen and if your dog likes to get messy, there is nowhere to dry it. There is no space also to dry wet clothes if the weather is awful (which it has been this week). The shower room is tiny although the shower is brilliant. There isn't enough room to dry yourself in the shower room.
This is a really nice property for 2 people only, and if you are out all day and dont mind looking at plain walls when you come back for the evening, but if you have a dog this is not the cottage to rent. Even though it states 'pet friendly' IT IS NOT."
