Customer Reviews

Familiy with older children
29th March 2016
This is a lovely well-equipped and cozy cottage. It is situated on a the edge of the village on a quiet road, with fields directly opposite the cottage. A footpath leads within 5 minutes to the nearest pub and local shop. It enabled us to have lovely walks with our dog from the doorstep and was near enough to other attractive parts of the Peak District. We only spent 4 days over Easter, but would like to go back for a longer period. The owners also provided a lovely welcome with hot cross buns, jam, milk and bunnies for the children.
The shower is not very powerful at all and could do with a power shower.
"The garden is enclosed, but if you have an escape dog, like ours, take a stake to tether the dog to, as the walls and the gate around the cottage are only about 4 foot high."
