Lovingly restored and traditionally decorated by the British owners, incorporating beamed ceilings and log burners. The quaint mill house 'Le Moulin' with its millstream trickling alongside, provides cosy accommodation for two, with views across the mill pond and lakes from its rear patio, while the spacious 'Maisons de Niziau' both feature exposed stonework and a pretty patio overlooking the river. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking and cycling. The historic town of Pontivy (16km), with its château set on the River Blavet, weekly market and restaurants serving traditional Breton fayre. Also within easy reach are the lake of Guerlédan (20km) and slightly further afield, Mûr de Bretagne (26km), with their beaches and watersports. The coast is easily accessible, with the Golfe du Morbihan (70km), inner sea, well worth exploring. Carnac (73km) is renowned for its rows of 2000 standing stones which constitute the most important prehistoric site in Europe.
