This villa has its own spacious gardens with views over the surrounding countryside, and at the back is a raised wooden terrace over looking the enclosed pool area, ideal for keeping an eye on the children while relaxing and taking in the sun. This terrace can be accessed from the garden or the master bedroom or another of the double bedrooms. The heated pool is shared with the two other gites (FCH190 and FCH191) as is the vast enclosed area behind the pool where there is plenty of space and facilities for the children. The villa is situated in the heart of the Charente Maritime countryside and there are several pretty villages and beach lakes close-by. Matha (10kms) is the closest main town and has all main services, and there is also the attractive town of St Jean d'Angély 25kms to the West. Carry on from there another 45 minutes and you have the beaches such as Chatelaillon Plage, the chic Ile de Ré and the lovely historic City of La Rochelle with its harbour and huge selection of cafés and restaurants from which to watch the world go by.
