Voss is about 30 minuets away and is a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. The ski centers, such as Myrkdalen, Bavallen and Sysendalen, are also worth a visit. Drevtjørn Ski og Tursenter in Ulvik offers great cross-country ski trails.
