Quintessential Cottages Quintessential Cottages is a small privately-owned business with a very simple goal. Our aim is that a short stay in one of our 5-star luxury holiday cottages should provide you with the comfort, style and sophistication of a first class boutique hotel along with the privacy and freedom offered by a private home. Our first two properties are grade II listed smugglers' cottages nestled in the heart of Deal's picturesque conservation area and only 50 metres from the beach.
