Description of The Paddock

Paddock Cottage, newly converted, is a stylish, light, warm and supremely comfortable retreat. Set overlooking a meadow, the cottage is peacefully situated and is only five minutes walk from the sights in the centre of Bourton on the Water. Enjoy walks in the beautiful countryside from right outside your door.

The accommodation is modern and stylish. On the ground floor there is a well equipped, newly fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and cooker, opening on to a spacious living area with comfortable seating and a dining area. French windows lead on to a patio overlooking the field; an ideal spot for an evening drink.

Upstairs is a charming bedroom with kingsize bed, luxurious bed linen and plenty of storage space. There is a compact modern bathroom with shower and a plentiful supply of soft towels.

Walk out the door, through the field and you can have your pick of beautiful walks through the countryside surrounding Bourton on the Water. Escape to the Cotswolds has a wonderful list of walks to inspire you. If you prefer a set of wheels there are lovely cycle routes to sample too and bicycles can easily be hired locally at Bourton Cycles.

The owner is on site and we aim to provide our guests with all the information and help they need to have a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The cottage is perfectly situated for visiting the most beautiful villages and towns of the Cotswold area. It is within easy distance of the picturesque Upper and Lower Slaughters, Stow on the Wold, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Cirencester, Winchombe, Snowshill, Burford, Tetbury, Bibury and Painswick. It is an hour drive or train journey away from the historic cities of Bath and Oxford, and forty-five minutes drive from the Shakespearian gem of Stratford.
