Description of The Barn At Titley

Graded 5 stars according to Visit England standards,The Barn at Titley is a luxury rural retreat. The Grade 2 listed barn conversion is located adjacent to a beautiful and secluded nature reserve complete with lakes and bird-hide. It provides a stylish base for those seeking a peaceful setting for their holiday. A Michelin star gastro-pub, The Stagg, is just around the corner so you can be assured of great food!

Hay-on-Wye, Ludlow, Hereford, the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons are all within an easy 30 minute drive from the barn.

The main living area comprising kitchen, dining and sitting areas is on the first floor in order to take advantage of the stunning vaulted ceiling and many beams. Overlooking the sitting area is a long gallery in the eaves of the barn - a perfect chill-out area for teenagers and a good spot for a quiet read. This is also furnished with a single bed to give additional flexibility with sleeping arrangements.

On the ground floor are two beautiful four poster bedrooms ( king and double), one traditional wood and another in metal so you have a choice of styles. A little luxury is essential on holiday, isn't it? One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the other an en-suite wet room with a great power shower and sink. Both beds have crisp linen and proper pillows! There is a separate cloakroom.

To the front of the barn there is a private garden and sitting area where you can sit out and look onto the hills and forest. To the rear is a large enclosed communal courtyard shared with our neighbours, furnished with dining table and chairs. This is a real sun-trap and perfect for breakfasts and lunch. The front garden catches the evening sun so you can dine with a view. We provide candle-lit torches to add a little extra romantic atmosphere! Between both areas you can catch the sun throughout the day.
